Momo is The Steel Dog

This is the day pillar only. It is fixed by the calendar date of birth, which is public — so it can be calculated with confidence. The hour pillar cannot: Momo's birth time is not published, and guessing at one would produce a chart that looks precise and is not.

What the day pillar says is character rather than circumstance.

The day pillar is read as two halves. The stem is what a person is made of; the branch is what they are standing on. Here the stem is yang Metal — metal that has been worked — decisiveness with an edge on it, useful and capable of cutting the hand that holds it.

The branch is the Dog: loyal ground — a footing that keeps what it has decided to keep, past the point where that is repaid.

The stem moves and the ground holds, so the chart argues with itself. That is not a flaw. It is the reason this pairing is harder to push around than either half would be alone.
