Who holds your data

Your birth data is never stored

Your birth date, time and city are used in your browser and on our server to compute a chart, and then discarded. They are not written to any database.

What travels afterwards is the share key in your URL — for example 0e-1h-1m-17. That encodes the result (four pillars from a 60-position cycle), not the input. It narrows a birth to a range of possible dates, not to a day, and it contains no name, time or place.

This is why the free chart needs no account: there is nothing to log in to, because there is nothing kept.

What we do store

Only these, and only when you take an action that requires them:

• If you buy a reading: your email address (given to Lemon Squeezy at checkout and passed to us), the order id and amount, the share keys involved, and the generated text. Kept so we can deliver it, answer “I never got my reading”, and honour a refund.
• If you email yourself a chart: your email address, the share key, and whether you ticked the marketing box.
• If you make an account: your email address, when the account was created and last used, and the share keys you saved.
• Sign-in and session tokens: random values with no personal information in them. Strictly necessary for signing in, so they are not subject to cookie consent.

No name, no birth data, no payment card details. We never see your card — Lemon Squeezy handles payment as merchant of record.

What we do not do

No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no session recording. Nothing on this site follows you elsewhere, and we have never sold or shared a customer list.

Who processes it for us

• Lemon Squeezy — payment, as merchant of record.
• Upstash — the database holding the items above.
• Anthropic — generates the reading. Receives the chart’s elemental figures. It does not receive your email address, name, or birth details.
• Resend — sends email.
• Vercel — hosting.

How long we keep it

• A purchased reading: 30 days, or as long as your account is in use.
• Order records: about 400 days, so a late refund or dispute can be answered.
• Account and saved charts: until you ask us to delete them.
• Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no form and no verification hoop: write from the address in question and we will act on it.

Deleting your data removes your readings too. That is not reversible, and we will say so before doing it.

Where it is held

Our processors operate internationally, so your data may be stored or processed outside your country, including in the United States. Each of them offers standard contractual protections for that transfer.
