Lee Know is The Vine Snake

This is the day pillar only. It is fixed by the calendar date of birth, which is public — so it can be calculated with confidence. The hour pillar cannot: Lee Know's birth time is not published, and guessing at one would produce a chart that looks precise and is not.

What the day pillar says is character rather than circumstance.

The day pillar is read as two halves. The stem is what a person is made of; the branch is what they are standing on. Here the stem is yin Wood — wood that grows by finding purchase — adaptable, quietly persistent, and far harder to remove than it looks when it starts.

The branch is the Snake: watchful ground — a footing that gathers before it acts and gives very little away while it does.

Both halves hold back, which makes this a chart that is almost never caught unprepared — and one that can spend years being ready for something it never begins.
