RM is The Diamond Ox

This is the day pillar only. It is fixed by the calendar date of birth, which is public — so it can be calculated with confidence. The hour pillar cannot: RM's birth time is not published, and guessing at one would produce a chart that looks precise and is not.

What the day pillar says is character rather than circumstance.

The day pillar is read as two halves. The stem is what a person is made of; the branch is what they are standing on. Here the stem is yin Metal — metal that has been refined — precision, discrimination, and a standard that few things clear, including its own work.

The branch is the Ox: patient ground — a footing that turns slowness into an advantage and refuses to be hurried by anyone's schedule.

Both halves hold back, which makes this a chart that is almost never caught unprepared — and one that can spend years being ready for something it never begins.
