The Diamond Pig and The Solar Monkey

The Diamond Pig sees pressure that sharpens or wears, depending on the day. The Solar Monkey, looking back, sees something worth tending carefully. These are not the same thing, and that gap is the most useful fact on this page: each of you is having a different experience of the same relationship.
